Varsity Football player Junior Pompey will close the NY Stock exchange

Please be advised that Junior Pompey, an 11th-grade student enrolled at Archbishop Stepinac High School has been invited to close the NASDAQ Market on Monday, February 26, 2007 in celebration of Entrepreneurship Week USA.

Junior Pompey will be accompanied by Judith Cone, of The Kauffman Foundation, presenter representing Entrepreneurship Week USA, NASDAQ Senior Executive, TBD and six other selected young leaders in New York State. Junior will be the only student representing Westchester County.

Junior Pompey will be identified as a Westchester County resident, currently enrolled at Archbishop Stepinac High School (11th Grade) during his security clearance before the ceremony.

The NASDAQ Closing (ringing of the bell) will broadcast LIVE, via satellite and recorded for evening/morning news. Most major networks will carry the live broadcast.

Photos will be taken of Junior standing in front of the NASDAQ building, along side Judith Cone and NASDAQ Senior Executive, TBD, as well as inside during the ceremony. Photos will be circulated to various New York Newspapers to coincide with print articles.

We are all very proud of Junior's accomplishments as being one of the top five young adults, certified in New York State as an Entrepreneur and number one in his age category.
